Professional Degree:	Superior Technician in Graphic Arts Industries (*)

Length:	2.000 hours, in two academic courses.

Professional Competences:	This professional will be able to: Define, organize, programme, supervise, and control the production of graphic arts industries, in order to obtain the established quality, productivity and costs in the production. General capacities and attitudes: to interpret production maps and technical information. To have an overall and coordinate view of the different stages of the graphic process. To supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance works. To coordinate, advice and give directions to the workers he is responsible for in the productive process and its later evolution.

Professional field:	This professional can work as: From the organization of the whole production process to the management of an area. Working in the production organization area in small, medium or large companies whose activities are: Publishers. Photomecanics. Printers, factories and bookbinding and paper and cartoon workshops. Production Control and Management.

Title: Técnico Superior en Producción en Industrias de Artes Gráficas Country: Spain Grammatical variants: Técnica/os Superior/es en Level: ISCED 5 Diploma and title awarded to students whose continuous assessment in all subjects has been satisfactory on completion of tertiary non-university vocational studies (Formación Profesional Específica de Grado Superior) established by the 1990 Ley Orgánica de Ordenación General del Sistema Educativo (LOGSE, or Organic Law on the General Organisation of the Education System). These studies are of variable duration but usually last 2 years. The diploma indicates the field of specialisation and gives access to the first cycle of certain university studies, and to employment. The level of education specified corresponds to the level of the educational programme on completion of which an examination is held, a qualification awarded or a title conferred.
